User Guide

1. Create a Sale

Open Sales Counter → pick a product → choose color/size if asked → set quantity → Complete Sale.

2. Add Colors & Variants

Add a product first, then open Colors & Variants. Use bulk import to paste many colors at once.

3. Account Ledger

Select a customer to see pending balance and payment history. Use Receive Payment when the customer pays.

4. Send Bill on WhatsApp

After completing a sale, tap Send on WhatsApp. The message opens ready to send — attach the bill PDF if needed.

5. Stock Audit

Count stock physically and compare with the system. Differences help you find missing or extra items.

6. Purchase Entry

When stock arrives from a supplier, record it under Purchases. Stock updates automatically. Always select a supplier.

7. View & Print Bills

Use Sales & Bills to filter by date, open any invoice, or save as PDF (Print → Save as PDF).

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a walk-in customer?
When no registered customer is selected, the sale is saved as Walk-in (cash counter customer).
What are categories for?
They group products for POS filters. Add category types anytime (Categories → Manage Types), then assign each category to a type.
What is a purchase?
Buying stock from a supplier — inventory increases. Always select a supplier or the name will not appear in recent purchases.
What is "Contact Person" on a supplier?
The supplier business name is separate from the contact person — the individual you speak with (manager, owner, etc.).
Where are bills saved?
In the database as sales.invoice_data (JSON). HTML is generated when you view or print. Use View / PDF → Print → Save as PDF. On your live POS, admins can download a full backup from Settings.
What does "Print report" print?
On Sales & Bills, it prints the summary and bills table for the filtered date range — not full invoice line items (use the PDF button on each row for that).
